WiFi FTP App Reviews

I tried Windows Explorer, WSFTP, command line, etc. None of them connected to my iPhone. Id like to have my money back so that I could buy other FTP application which really works. I dont understand how Apple allows this kind of fake application been sold here. The developer could at least, on the application description, inform the it doesnt work on Windows XP.

Application it self working great, but the only problem that I have that , do not figure out who open that Excel & Word files with Quick office, When I tried to open the files Quick office my document folder is some where else and FTP my document is some where else. I will really appreciate if some one tells me how I can open and edit these files directly from iphone. I purchased many applications from itune, but every application stores its files on its own folder and you can’t browse the iphone folders so you can access files from that folders or different folders on the iphone. Previous I was a HTC user and it was pretty easy to copy files, edit and browse through the folders. Apple makes it very hard to copy files and even worse to browse. But I will say the FTP application is great itself. I copied multiple folders at once and it work great.

Worked a few months ago, but not in the last few weeks. Also used to open png files great, then after an update would crash. Unstable, needs work.

Every time I turn the FTP Server on and try to connect with an FTP client the software crashes and goes back to the iPhone desktop. At this stage it dosent even deserve one star.

The app works just as it should and performs great! Unlike a lot of apps, this one is actually useful. I highly recommend this app, it is worth the dollar, you wont regret it.

Crashes. Developer is unresponsive!! I want a refund or an update that works!!!

Well, it does transfer files, large and small, without issue. Unfortunately, it times out very quickly. Since it does not require authentication, my FTP client cannot reconnect automatically...not just doesnt require authentication, there is no option for it, making the timeout issue trivial if you care at all about security. I dont right now because Im just transferring on my private network. Might care more when I want to then transfer those files to my work computer though. Also, it would be nice to see an "open with" option for the files. Opens PDFs and edits texts, but crashes when opening images (png, have not tried others). Basically, this app is little more than an FTP server to transfer files from one computer to another with very little additional functionality except viewing PDFs and editing text docs (perhaps csv files too, but have not tried). One can then email those files or upload to google docs if that was not already done from the computer with the FTP client. I give three stars because it transfer files pretty well. Might give four if it did not crash when attempting to open files it does not recognize and timed out less quickly. Would give five with security options and if it allowed allowed users to open files with local apps. Its worth a buck if you need to transfer files using an FTP client. Little reason to buy otherwise. The crashing issue is pretty annoying though. Almost gave two stars because of that, but just wont try to open those files within app.

This will not work for me... there is 2 lines of instructions..... I have emailed CS and it is 2 weeks later and they still have not contacted me back... I am an experienced computer user so this should not be a big deal to hook up per their instructions.... But it does not work...

I use PC based FTP with web servers all the time, however trying to FTP with this app does not work. The two line instructions web page is a joke.

Wont connect as per all 2 lines of instructions. I know how to set up a wireless network, and nothing I tried seemed to help. No support online. Not worth the star I had to give in order submit this review.

This must be a joke or a scam. No support.

I have worked in IT for many years and can say this app Does Not Work. Tried everything. They would not survive in a real store but in itoons they can rob u blind with garbage that Does Not Work.

I have a it company and this is a scam. No user name or password entry.

Tried to use this app for my iPad but could not get it working although I have used WS_FTP on a computer for several years without a problem. Wrote to developer but nothing of any help has come back to me.

Wish I had read the other comments before throwing a buck basically down the drain. Flat out doesnt work. Nothing will transfer before it times out.

Gets stuck starting up and never goes further... And the APP does not provide one line of help. Avoid!

I paid for this app in hopes of categorizing files by using folders. I cannot create folders and I noticed the email feature is broken or require a data card to function. I Require Reimbursement.

Does what it claims and nothing else. You dont have ability to "open in" files that you sent to your server. Foldering on the server cannot be done. Only supports anonymous login.
